Matt Gurkin

Senior Associate

Prior to joining Orangewood Partners, Matt was an Associate on the investment team at Compass Diversified (NYSE:CODI), a Westport, CT based middle-market private equity firm focused on consumer, industrial, and business services sectors. Matt was responsible for all stages of the investment process and was active in portfolio company operating activity. Matt started his career as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at Deloitte Corporate Finance in Charlotte and New York.

Matt graduated with distinction from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School with a B.S. in Business Administration. He was raised in Cary, North Carolina.
